Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that variations in the uniformity of negative pressure among heads is caused when a plurality of caps are sucked simultaneously through a common suction device, thereby variations in the dischargeability of liquid among heads is caused.SOLUTION: A head module 51 is provided with, for each color, a plurality of heads 101a-101e arranged in a row. A cleaning device 61 has a plurality of caps 61a-61e for capping a nozzle face of each of the heads 101a-101e. Each of the caps 61a-61e is connected to a common suction pump 63 via flow passages 64a-64e formed of tubes. The flow passages (tubes) 64a-64e from the plurality of caps 62a-62e to the suction pump 63 have the same fluid resistance.
