PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pick up an image without causing deterioration of a stereoscopic image displayed on a display screen of a display device.SOLUTION: A device includes: an imaging unit for imaging a display screen when a display device displays a left-eye image and right-eye image corresponding to a binocular parallax alternately in frame units; a reception unit for receiving a display-switching signal for the left-eye image and the right-eye image from the display device; a shutter unit for adjusting exposure for the imaging part; and a control unit for controlling so as to synchronize drive timing of the shutter unit with display-switching timing of the display device on the basis of the display-switching signal received by the reception unit and causing the imaging unit to separately image the left-eye image and the right-eye image to be displayed on the display screen.
