PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize contamination around a contact due to a lubricant, to facilitate the management of application quantity of the lubricant, and to improve productivity.SOLUTION: A switch device comprises an operating member 22, a fixed contact, a moving contact piece 20, a slider 27, and a lubricant 29. The slider 27 is formed by material including lubricating ingredients, and has a non-through-hole 272 opening at the operating member 22 side and blocking the moving contact piece 20 side. In an initial usage state, lubricity is kept by the lubricating ingredients in the slider 27. If used in a certain period, a contact part between the slider 27 and the moving contact piece 20 is worn by sliding the slider 27 on the moving contact piece 20, and the hole 272 is pierced. The lubricant 29 is supplied to the contact part between the slider 27 and the moving contact piece 20 through the pierced hole 272.
