Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system that is capable of improving the accuracy of determining a tendency of rollover.SOLUTION: The vehicle control system has a control unit 1 that includes: a resultant acceleration calculation unit for calculating a resultant acceleration G, which is obtained by synthesis of accelerations (Xg, Yg) in multiple directions acting on a vehicle; a resultant jerk calculation unit for calculating a resultant jerk dG/dt, which is obtained by synthesis of a change rate of the resultant acceleration dXg/dt, dYg/dt in multiple directions; and a rollover tendency determination unit for determining the rollover tendency of the vehicle using the resultant jerk dG/dt calculated.
