PACKAGING CONTAINER MADE OF CORRUGATED BOARD, AND PACKAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container made of a corrugated board for packaging a heavy load whose total weight is ≥40 kg, which is suitable for container transportation.SOLUTION: The packaging container made of a corrugated board is formed of a corrugated board sheet: obtained by pasting a plurality of flute layers in which each front side liner and each back side liner have a corrugated height of ≥4.5 mm and an intermediate liner present being pasted between the flute layers; and having a strength in short column test of ≥15 kN/m. The front side liner is a water shielding liner having a moisture vapor transmission rate of ≤300 [g/(m×24h)] and Cobb water absorbency of ≤5 g/m, and the packaging container made of a corrugated board is formed in such a manner that the side of the water shielding liner serves as the outer side face. Further, the package is obtained by packaging a metallic article, a vaporizing rust preventive chemical and/or a desiccant using the packaging container made of the corrugated board.
