HANDY OPEN SHREDDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy electric shredder which is small and convenient, which is easy to hold paper in parallel so that the paper may not be inserted into rotary teeth, and which is easy to hold the paper in parallel when in use as an envelope opener.SOLUTION: In the handy electric shredder, a U-shaped paper passage is formed having two arms leading to a lower housing B by notching one end of an upper housing A at a right angle with two shafts of the rotary teeth. Paper to be shredded is held by the notched and right-angled side face in parallel. A housing-type envelope guiding slide is arranged at the upper face end part of one of the arms so that one end of the envelope can be cut in parallel. Further, the upper cross section of one of arms at one side is cut so that pieces of paper are easy to insert, and each arm of the housing is partially transparent so that the state of the paper can be easily visually recognized.
