BINARY REFRIGERATION CYCLE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binary refrigeration cycle apparatus capable of performing defrosting at a high speed, without cooling targeted heating objects that have been heated by a radiation heat exchanger at the time of heating operation.SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with: a high temperature side refrigeration cycle, a low temperature side refrigeration cycle, and an intermediate heat exchanger. The high temperature side refrigeration cycle is provided with: a hot gas bypass circuit; and a high temperature side flow path switching mechanism, which switches from the state where discharge refrigerant from a high temperature side compressor can be introduced to the hot gas bypass circuit, to the state where the discharge refrigerant cannot be introduced to the hot gas bypass circuit, and vice versa. The low temperature side refrigeration cycle is provided with: a low temperature side flow path switching mechanism, which switches from the state where discharge refrigerant from a low temperature side compressor can be introduced to the intermediate heat exchanger, to the state where the low temperature side refrigerant can be introduced to an air heat exchanger, and vice versa. At the time of defrosting, the state where the discharge refrigerant from the high temperature side compressor can be introduced to the hot gas bypass circuit, and the state where the discharge refrigerant from the low temperature side compressor can be introduced to the air heat exchanger, are selected.
