Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket capable of enhancing quality and productivity of a product, by largely setting a thickness of a gate provided in a metal mold for molding the gasket, in the gasket having integrally a base part and a lip part.SOLUTION: This gasket 1 seals a part between mutually opposed two members 21 and 22. The gasket 1 includes integrally the planar base part 2 interposed in a clearance 23 between the two members 21 and 22, and the lip part 3 integrally molded on a plane of the base part 2 and inserted into a groove part arranged in one member 21 of the two members 21 and 22. The base part 2 is extendedly molded so as to project from the clearance 23 between the two members 21 and 22, a projection 5 for increasing a thickness of the base part 2 is arranged in a projecting part 4, and an injection gate trace 37 when molding the gasket is formed on a tip surface in the projecting direction of the base part 2 increased in the thickness.
