HANGER HOOK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger hook which is simple in structure, permits manufacturing costs to be reduced, and hardly damages an article to be hooked thereon.SOLUTION: The hanger hook 1 has a supporting member 2 fastened to a wall surface and a hook body 3 pivoted by the supporting member 2. The supporting member 2 has a base metal part 4 and a cover member 5 engaged with and fixed to the same. The base metal part 4 is integrally made of a metal plate material and has a bottom plate 6, a pair of parallel supporting plates 7 standing at right angles from both right and left edges of the bottom plate 6 and a stopper piece 8 holding the hook body 3 to a standing position. The hook body 3 is pivoted by a pivot pin 10 provided to bridge the supporting plates 7 and is shaped so as to mostly fit between the supporting plates 7 when laid down. The cover member 5 is integrally formed of an elastic body and has a pair of side plate portions 14, a base portion 15 communicating with the side plate portions 14, and a receiving concavity 16 receiving the hook body 3 in a laid down condition, and a masking edge portion 17 for masking the peripheries of the supporting plates 7.
