OUTER ROTOR TYPE ELECTRIC MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer rotor type electric motor capable of preventing an insulator from getting out of teeth of a stator and surely preventing the contact of the insulator and a rotor.SOLUTION: An outer rotor type electric motor 1 includes: a stator 10 including a stator core 11 provided with teeth 11b, a plurality of insulators 12 mounted on the teeth 11b from the radiation direction outer side, and a plurality of coils 13 formed by winding a winding wire 14 around the insulators 12; a rotor 6 arranged on the radial direction outer side of the stator 10; and a resolver 9 comprising a resolver stator 91 attached to the stator core 11 through a resolver stator holder 95 and a resolver rotor 92 attached to the rotor 6 or a rotary shaft 8 facing the resolver stator 91. The insulator 12 is provided with a part 61 to be engaged and the resolver stator holder 95 is provided with an engaging part 95c to be engaged with the part 61 to be engaged of the insulator 12.
