AUDIO OUTPUT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio output system which outputs masker sound at a suitable timing according to a situation of a user.SOLUTION: A router 11A determines whether or not communication content and communication volume in a network satisfy a predetermined condition (s11). For example, the router 11A analyzes protocols of packets transmitted to/received from the network to analyze the communication content and analyzes the communication volume from traffic in a LAN, the number of DHCP address delivery, and the like. When the router 11A determines that the condition is satisfied, it gives an audio output device 15 an instruction to output the masker sound (s12). Further, when the router 11A determines that the communication content and communication volume in the network do not satisfy the predetermined condition in the determination of the s11, it gives the audio output device 15 an instruction to stop the output of the masker sound. For example, when the number of DHCP address delivery is less than the predetermined number, the router 11A determines that the number of absent users increases and controls the audio output device 15 to stop the output of the masker sound.
