Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of occurrence of a communication error caused by deterioration of communication performance in a center frequency due to a variation in frequency characteristics of a built-in antenna of an RFID tag which is generated because a part of a conveyance path is composed of a dielectric substance.SOLUTION: A thermal printer 10 which is one of IC tag communication devices conveys a thermosensitive medium 100 having an RFID tag along a conveyance path and communicates with the RFID tag. The thermal printer 10 has an RFID antenna 11 which communicates with the RFID tag. The conveyance path makes an area facing the RFID antenna 11 be a space area b as a low dielectric area. A gap 12 is formed in the space area b. A low dielectric substance is arranged in the space area b. The space area b is wider than the width of the RFID tag.
