GAS METER INDICATION NUMBER READING METHOD AND SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for reading gas meter indication number with accuracy for a gas meter mounted in a fuel gas supply system path.SOLUTION: An image obtained by photographing a display part 2 of a gas meter 1 having a display part for displaying integrated usage amount is transmitted to a terminal side processing device 4. The image transmitted is identified as an image by using image identification means 5 in the terminal side processing device. The image data identified as image by the image identification means 5 is converted into numerical value data by using data conversion means 6. The numerical value data subject to data conversion is stored in storing means 7 and output to data analysis means 10 via output means 8.
