IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reliably recovering residual toner while minimizing a developing device.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes: a photosensitive drum 10 on which an electrostatic image is to be formed; a developing roller 23 for forming a toner image on the photosensitive drum 10; and a supply roller 24 which rotates as interlocking with the developing roller 23 while being in contact with the surface of the developing roller 23, and which supplies a toner to the surface of the developing roller 23 and removes a residual toner that does not contribute to the formation of a toner image from the surface of the developing roller 23. The image forming apparatus also includes a pressing mechanism to press the surface of the supply roller 24 to the surface of the developing roller 23, and a pressing force adjusting mechanism 30 capable of adjusting the pressing force by the pressing mechanism.
