Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer device having a good assembling property while eliminating a blocking member or keeping the strength of the blocking member, and an assembling method of the same.SOLUTION: A pointer device comprises: a light guiding member 3 having a rotation base portion 31 and an indicating portion 32; and a cover member 4 having a first cover portion 41 and a second cover portion 42. On the rotation base portion 31, a reflecting portion 311 for reflecting light from a light source toward a tip end side of the indicating portion 32 is formed. The first cover portion 41 has a first front surface wall 411, a first side surface wall 412, and an opening portion 413. The second cover portion 42 has an opening window 421, and a pair of second side surface walls 422. On a dial plate side of the second cover portion 42, a light shielding portion 423 is continuously formed, and a communicating portion 424 is formed between places P1 and P2.
