METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STRIP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a strip in high productivity by rolling up the front end of the strip at high speed compared with a conventional method when rolling up the strip by a roll-up machine while performing the jump control of four wrapper rolls constituting the roll-up machine.SOLUTION: In a hot rolling process using a rolling machine, a run-out table, and the roll-up machine, when rolling up the strip by the roll-up machine while performing the jump control of four wrapper rolls incidental to the roll-up machine, in the most part of the time of performing the jump control, the strip is rolled up so that two wrapper rolls only contact with the strip simultaneously.
