PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mat containing polyurethane foam that exhibits a buffer effect with a high muscular strength enhancing effect in a wide temperature range for the purpose of maintaining and improving a stepping or walking motion function.SOLUTION: The mat contains polyurethane foam used for the purpose of improving the stepping or walking motion function. The polyurethane foam has cells with holes in part of cell films, and the mat fulfills all the following conditions. The glass transition point of the polyurethane foam is -10°C or lower, the difference of maximum values of impact force of the polyurethane foam at 0-40°C is 10 kgf or less, and the air permeability (JIS L1096 A method) of the polyurethane foam is 0.1 to 10.0 cm/cm/s.
