PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair capable of attaining simplification in appearance and structure while comfortable sitting feel is achieved.SOLUTION: The chair A includes: a seat composed of elastically deformable plate material including a seating part A21 and a right/left pendent part A22 that hangs down right/left continuously from both side parts of the seating part A21; and a leg structure A1 provided with a seat supporting part A12 that directly supports the right/left of the seat. In the chair A, a deformation allowing space S allowing elastic deformation of the seat is formed between the leg structure A1 and the center of the seat that is not supported by the leg structure A1. The lower end A22a of the pendent part A22 is positioned lower than the seat supporting part A12 in the leg structure A1.
