Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a power generation layer for a solid oxide fuel cell, which is capable of obtaining a power generation layer for a fuel cell with excellent power generation performance.SOLUTION: The method of producing a power generation layer for a solid oxide fuel cell according to the present invention, in which a power generation layer comprising at least a solid electrolyte layer 1, an oxidant electrode layer 2, and a fuel electrode layer 3 is produced, includes: a multilayer application step of applying a first slurry containing solid electrolyte material particles and at least one of a second slurry containing oxidant electrode material particles and a third slurry containing fuel electrode material particles, in layers; and a firing step of firing a multilayer green sheet 9 obtained by performing the multilayer application step.
