Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately align reading positions of a stimulable photoreceptor plate and a reading section without an increase in the size of the apparatus.SOLUTION: In the radiation image reading system, a cassette 10 has a pressing section for pressing a plate 101 to a reference position of a tray TR when the plate 101 and the tray TR are drawn by a drawing section 207, and the drawing section 207 draws the plate 101 and the tray TR and brings the tray TR holding the plate 101 into contact with the reference surface of a conveying section.
