Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress friction between contact points of storage medium provided on a part attached to an image forming apparatus and terminals contacting with the contact points.SOLUTION: A process cartridge is provided with a holding member 106 on a side 101 of the process cartridge for holding a storage medium 17. The holding member 106 is formed as a separate body from the process cartridge, and is attached to the side 101 of the process cartridge. The holding member 106 has a partition wall formed in between a first insertion groove and a second insertion groove in its deep side inside the holding member 106. Of the two sides of the partition wall, the side facing the first insertion groove is provided with four terminals contacting four terminals formed in the storage medium 17.
