TRIMARAN SHIP WITH ROLL-REDUCING FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trimaran ship that effectively reduces rolling motion and preferably improves the ride quality in a voyage in wavy waterways where a hull causes a pitch resonance.SOLUTION: The trimaran ship includes: side hulls 12 rotatably supported on both right and left sides of a center hull by swingable arms 14 and mounted so as to be vertically movable relative to the center hull; and damping devices constituted of coil springs 24 and viscous dumpers 26 that provide damping force to the vertical movement of the side hulls relative to the center hull.
