PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform more general-purpose detection of spectrum inversion and also to perform its correction.SOLUTION: A spectrum inversion detection part 211 acquires information concerning an error correction result from an error correction part 116, detects existence of spectrum inversion of a reception signal in accordance with the acquired information and setting to be supplied from an input part 206, and supplies the detection result to a selection part 114. The selection part 114 selects one signal between a signal, which is supplied from an orthogonal demodulation part 111 and is not spectrum-inverted, and a signal, which is supplied from a spectrum inversion part 113 and is spectrum-inverted, in accordance with a detection result on existence of the spectrum inversion of the reception signal, which is supplied from the spectrum inversion detection part 211, and then, supplies the selected signal to an equalization part 115. The present invention is applied to a signal processing device.
