Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing material for a solar cell module which can improve light conversion efficiency of a solar cell element in comparison with EVA by imparting light scattering effect to a polyethylene-based resin, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: In the sealing material for a solar cell module mainly containing a polyethylene-based resin, the crystallization is adjusted so that the haze value of a test specimen as in examples measured by JIS K7136 at a thickness of 400 μm is 1 to 6%, and a spherulite size derived from the polyethylene-based resin exists in the range of 0.1 μm or more and 0.5 μm or less in average. Consequently, light scattering effect is enhanced by the spherulite portion, and a higher light conversion efficiency is obtained in comparison with EVA while having a haze value smaller than that of the conventional EVA.
