Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent entry of a coolant into a region formed between full beads when the adjacent full beads are separated from each other.SOLUTION: A cylinder head gasket 1 includes gasket base plates 4 and 5 having: a plurality of combustion chamber holes 7; water holes 9 formed so as to correspond to the positions of coolant paths 3b formed in a cylinder block; and full beads 4a and 5a surrounding the combustion chamber holes. Adjacent full beads are formed at positions separated from each other, and two connection beads 4b and 5b are formed at positions which sandwich the centerline connecting the centers of the adjacent combustion chamber holes. The connection beads 4b and 5b branch from one of the full beads and join the other full bead, and the connection beads 4b and 5b protrude in the same direction as the full beads. The water holes are located outside the region surrounded by the full beads and the connection beads.
