Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an axial thrust force acting on an impeller of a centrifugal turbomachine by reducing the pressure in a back pressure chamber by using a balance pipe to further enhance the effect of reducing the axial thrust force.SOLUTION: The centrifugal turbomachine includes: the balance pipe 24 for reducing an axial thrust force, which communicates the back pressure chamber 20 formed with a casing 12 and a hub back surface of the impeller 10, with a suction pipe 22; and a flow aligning device 26 for locally increasing a flow rate of a fluid in the vicinity of a balance pipe opening that is opened in a wall surface of the suction pipe 22.
