Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved light emitting element having high efficiency, and having a sufficient service life even when used as illumination.SOLUTION: A light-emitting element comprises: an electrode 1; a counter electrode 2; and a light-emitting organic region 4. The light-emitting organic region 4 includes a light-emitting layer EM1 and a light-emitting layer EM2 which is further added. The light-emitting layer EM1 contains a fluorescent light emitting body for emitting light mainly in a blue or viridian spectral range by applying a voltage to the electrode 1 and the counter electrode 2. The light-emitting organic region 4 is arranged in a light-emitting form in which a plurality of colors in a visible spectrum range, optionally, including white are generated. The added light-emitting layer EM2 contains one or more phosphorescence light-emitting bodies for emitting light mainly in a spectrum range rather than blue. Triplet energy of the fluorescent light emitting body is greater than an energy level in a triplet energy state of the phosphorescence light-emitting body. The light-emitting organic region 4 emits at least 5% of light generated in the light-emitting organic region 4 as a fluorescent visible spectrum from the fluorescent light emitting body of the light-emitting layer EM1 in a singlet state. |
