MODULAR SYSTEM WITH EXTENSIBLE FORM FACTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a docking system for an electronic apparatus which provides easiness in docking and variety in use by reducing redundancy between devices in data hardware/software.SOLUTION: A master device is coupled with one or more other slave devices and converted into an electronic apparatus having an extended function. The master device is docked to the slave device via a data/electric interface, the master device is converted into a greater form factor of the slave device and on the basis of an operating system installed in the master device, data, application programs and functions integrated in the master device are accessed. An interface adapter is provided for facilitating docking compatibility of the master device. A strengthened charging and power supply management scheme are provided to the master and slave devices.
