Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor with a g-load absorbing shoulder.SOLUTION: The sensor includes: a body 26 disposed at a point of measurement interest on a rotor at a radial direction distance from a centerline thereof and having a substantially cylindrical shape and first and second opposing ends 27, 28; and a sensing end 29 coupled to one of the first and second opposing ends 27, 28, the other of the first and second opposing ends 27, 28 being coupled to a communication system. The sensing end 29 includes a sensing device 299 configured to generate a signal reflective of a detected condition at the point of measurement interest. At least one of the first and the second opposing ends 27, 28 is formed to define a shoulder portion 277, 288 for absorbing gravitational loading.
