FIBER BUNDLE-GATHERING DEVICE IN SPINNING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber bundle-gathering device capable of achieving increase in yarn strength and decrease in fluff, when a traverse position for a fiber bundle is located in a guide edge side end of a wide part in a suction slit.SOLUTION: A fiber bundle-gathering device includes: on a downstream side of a final delivery roller pair of a draft device, a sucking pipe 15 with a guide face 28 having a suction slit 27, and a ventilating conveyor belt 16 wound around the sucking pipe 15 and a guide part, for rotating to deliver a fiber bundle. One side edge of both side edges of the suction slit 27 in its width direction constitutes a guide edge 29 for collecting a fiber bundle F. Both side edges and an upper end edge 31 of the suction slit 27 form a wide portion 27a having a slit width wider than that on the downstream side, and a guide edge side end point J1 of the wide part 27a is located on a downstream side of a side edge side end point J2 opposite to the guide edge 29.
