Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the insertion and dropping of a probe into an optional position in the radius direction of a blast furnace.SOLUTION: A consumable type condition-detector in the furnace of the blast furnace is configured so that the probe 13 having a gas-extracting part 13ca and a plurality of temperature-sensing parts 13baa-13bac, 13bba-13bbc at the prescribed position in the length direction is placed on the surface layer of the charged raw materials in the blast furnace, and while lowering the probe 13 accompanying the lowering of the charged raw materials, the gas component in the furnace and the temperature in the furnace are continuously measured. An inserting tube 15, provided with a holding part 14 for magnetically attaching and holding the upper surface of the probe 13 on the tip thereof, is made to go forward and backward by a going forward and backward mechanism 16 along a sheath tube 12 including the probe 13 and the holding part 14. The probe 13 is inserted into the prescribed position in the radius direction in the furnace in a state where the upper surface of the probe 13 is magnetically attached. Thereafter, the holding part 14 is subjected to demagnetization at the position and the probe 13 is lowered on the surface layer of the charged raw materials in the furnace. Since dropping the probe on the charged raw materials in the furnace can be made without contact with a furnace wall, the sheath tube and the inserting tube, the probe can always be placed on the aimed position.
