TRANSFER DEVICE OF GRIT OR THE LIKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device which transfers grit, sewage residue or the like included in flowing water with a small power and a small amount of pressurized water.SOLUTION: The transfer device has a grit pump 3 which pumps up pressurized water supplied to one pipeline P1 and grit, and throws them into a positive pressure transfer tank 4. The positive pressure transfer tank 4 is pressure closed, and then pressurized water is supplied from a supply-side pipeline P2. In the positive pressure transfer tank 4, the under surface 5 is composed of a horizontal surface 5b and an upward slope 5a, and a pair of first mixing block 6A and a second mixing block 6B is arranged on the upward slope 5a to accumulate grit. Other pressurized water is discharged through a first discharge pipeline P6 and a second discharge pipeline P7 which branch from a backwash pipeline P5 near the mixing blocks, and grit is transferred to a discharge-side pipeline P4. In the transfer of grit, grit on the downstream-side second mixing block is transferred, and then grit on the upstream-side first mixing block is transferred.
