PILLAR GARNISH STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar garnish structure of an automobile drawing out a seat belt by properly slide-contact-guiding it from a belt draw-out port formed in a connection part between an upper garnish and a lower garnish.SOLUTION: Since a belt guide piece 25 which is disposed on a lower end of the upper garnish 21 so as to extend in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle has a substantially U-shaped section having curved parts 25a on upper and lower ends, high rigidity is obtained against a torsional direction, a corrugated direction and a warping direction. As a result, heat deformation of the belt guide piece 25 is avoided, and the seat belt 12 is properly slide-contact-guided by an action of guiding the seat belt 12 by the curved parts 25a on the upper and lower ends.
