Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for drying a green honeycomb molding that inhibit the deformation or cracking of the green honeycomb molding during drying, and a method for manufacturing a ceramic honeycomb structure.SOLUTION: A drying device 100 is used for drying a green honeycomb molding 70 having a plurality of through-holes 70a. The drying device 100 includes: a container 10; a microwave source 20 for supplying a microwave into the container 10; a water-vapor supply port 10b for supplying water vapor into the container 10; a gas dispersion plate 42 disposed in the container 10 so as to contact with the end surface 70d of the green honeycomb molding 70 in which openings of the plurality of through-holes 70a are formed; and a heated-gas source 30 for supplying heated gas to the plurality of through-holes 70a of the green honeycomb molding 70 via the gas dispersion plate 42.
