Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently reshape a cutting blade with its tip edge and side edges worn away, to obtain a cutting blade of stable quality.SOLUTION: The method for reshaping cutting blades to be repaired each including a blade edge with the blade edge comprising a tip edge pointed toward the rotation direction and a pair of side edges each disposed on the corresponding side-face periphery inclusive of the blade edge, comprises: a step of classifying a plurality of cutting blades each differing in the degree of the wear amount of the tip edge and the side edges, into groups A to E according to the degree of the wear amount; a chamfering step of applying a chamfering treatment to the tip edge and the side edges of the individual cutting blades each belonging to the respective groups A to D, at a position passing through reference lines K1, K2, ..., and K4 specified for each of the groups to serve as the build-up reference; a build-up welding step of applying build-up welding to the tip edge and the side edges whereto the chamfering treatment has been applied; and a machining step of machining the build-up weld parts of the cutting blades to reshape the same into specified configurations of the tip edge and the side edges respectively.
