Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug socket capable of having a reliable waterproof function.SOLUTION: A plug socket 10 has a main body 11, a socket unit 12, and a cover 13. The main body 11 is made of a box with at least a bottom surface opened. The socket unit 12 has an insertion port 12a formed downward, and a blade receiving fitting 12b, to which a plug blade P1 of a plug P inserted from the insertion port is connected, and is arranged in the main body while the insertion port is faced to the opened bottom surface of the main body. The cover 13 is slidable against the main body between a closed position for covering the insertion port and an open position for opening the insertion port, and an operation knob 13d projecting in an approximate vertical direction at the closed position is formed on the cover 13.
