ASYNCHRONOUS CODE TEST METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT, COMPUTER SYSTEM, AND PROCESS (ASYNCHRONOUS CODE TEST IN INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT (IDE))

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a related method for an asynchronous code test in an integrated development environment (IDE).SOLUTION: The IDE includes components which are a source code editor, an influence analyzer, a test case launcher, a graphical user interface (GUI), and a data base. All the components are simultaneously executed for asynchronous real-time code editing. When a code block of an input code is altered, a test case is automatically generated, and start priority is computed based upon relation between the altered code block and each code block to be influenced by the alteration. The generated test case is automatically executed by the test case launcher or manually selected by a user so as to lead to a test execution result.
