LENS BARREL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which can be miniaturized further.SOLUTION: A lens barrel includes an optical system, an image blur correction driving unit, a retreat driving mechanism, a light quantity adjustment mechanism, and an actuator. The optical system has a image blur correction lens group and a retreat lens group. The image blur correction driving unit is for moving the image blur correction lens group in a direction orthogonal to the first optical axis of the image blur correction lens group. The retreat driving mechanism retreats the retreat lens group by arranging the second optical axis of the retreat lens group at a retreat position apart from first optical axis by a predetermined distance. The light quantity adjustment mechanism is for adjusting the quantity of light passing through the optical system. The actuator is disposed on the opposite side of the image blur correction driving unit relative to the light quantity adjustment mechanism in the direction of the first optical axis to drive the light quantity adjustment mechanism.
