PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade-proof protective member for a blade-proof protective clothing hardly limiting movements of a wearer, excellent in "opening resistance" even when it is stuck with a knife etc., and protecting the wearer by minimizing the wound.SOLUTION: In the blade-proof protective member 1 for a blade-proof protective clothing, a plurality of blade-proof square plates 2 made of blade-proof material are mutually connected in a state in which adjacent blade-proof square plates 2 are overlapped at the peripheral parts and are arranged in the horizontal direction and in the vertical direction. By using plate-like joint parts each of which is formed with at least two connection end parts, the blade-proof square plates 2 are mutually loosely connected to the adjacent blade-proof square plates 2 to compose the whole surface shape by respectively inserting the connection end parts of the plate-like joint part to slit-shaped connection holes provided for connection parts of the blade-proof square plate 2 at two positions on one side in the horizontal direction and at one position on one side in the vertical direction, and by bending the connection end parts to the wearer's body side, which connects the plates 2 to each other.
