Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a windmill which has enhanced conversion efficiency from wind energy to rotational energy.SOLUTION: The windmill includes a rotational shaft 10 extended in a direction crossing a wind direction and rotatably disposed, vanes 20 evenly spaced on a circumference having the rotational shaft 10 as a center, and a supporting part 30 transmitting force generated in wind-received vanes 20 to the rotational shaft 10 as rotational driving force. The vanes 20 are supported in such a way that they move in a revolution fashion together with the rotation of the rotational shaft 10 and also rotatably supported. When the vanes 20 move in a revolution fashion in a downwind region, the vanes 20 are pushed to regulation parts 32A and a drag generated by receiving wind acts on wind-receiving wings 21. When the vanes 20 move in a revolution fashion in an upwind region, the vanes 20 receive wind to generate a dynamic lift. The rotational shaft 10 is driven to rotate by the drag and the dynamic lift generated on the vanes 20.
