DRIVE CONTROL DEVICE OF ELECTRIC PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high pumping efficiency in a wide flow rate range.SOLUTION: A drive control device of an electric pump includes a pump for supplying a dynamic pressure to a fluid by rotating an impeller, and a motor serving as a rotation drive source of the impeller. The drive control device is also provided with an ability variable signal generating means for generating an ability variable signal for controlling an ability of the motor, a gate signal generating means for determining a duty in a PWM control according to an intensity of the ability variable signal and for controlling a power distribution amount for a motor coil based on the duty, an inverter for controlling a power distribution to the coil according to an output signal from the gate signal generating means, and a flow rate detecting means for detecting a flow rate of the fluid. The ability variable signal generating means outputs the ability variable signal according to the flow rate detected by the flow rate detecting means.
