PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To draw a line easily to mark a branch hole either for a right branch or a left branch.SOLUTION: A guide member 10 is used for drawing a line to mark a branch hole 34 on an outer face of a main tube 32 of a cable protection tube 30, and comprises a main body 12 having an inner face curving along the outer face of the main tube 32. On the main body 12, two openings 14 and 16 are formed. The openings 14 and 16 penetrate through the main body 12 in a thickness direction, and have asymmetric shapes against a tube axis direction of the main tube 32 when the guide member 10 is attached to the main tube. The openings 14 and 16 are formed at positons to be symmetrical to each other with respect to a surface orthogonal to the main body 12 and passing through a center of the main body 12 in a circumferential direction.
