Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a driving restriction of a motor by the estimated temperature of a reactor for a step-up/step-down converter more properly.SOLUTION: An estimated temperature TL of a reactor for a step-up/step-down converter is calculated based on an estimated temperature of the reactor calculated up to now and a charge/discharge current Ib of a battery. When the estimated temperature TL of the reactor calculated is higher than a threshold value that is set to become higher when the coolant temperature Tw of a cooling system for cooling the step-up/step-down converter becomes lower, a motor and the step-up/step-down converter are controlled so that an electric vehicle can drive with an output of request torque Tr* requested for a driving shaft within a limitation of the input/output limits for execution Winf, Woutf that restrict the input/output limits Win, Wout, which are the maximum permissible power for permitting the battery to be charged and discharged. Thus the driving restriction of the motor by the estimated temperature TL of the reactor for the step-up/step-down converter can be performed more properly.
