Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp a use state of each component even when a component is replaced in an installation destination, and manage components even for a product used under a condition where no communication can be used.SOLUTION: A component management system comprises: IC tags 1a, 1b, and 1c each of which is provided to each of multiple components comprising a product 10; and a on-product management device 2 provided to the product 10 capable of performing two-way communication with the IC tags 1a, 1b, and 1c provided to each of the components. The on-product management device 2 comprises: a time measuring part for measuring operation time of the product 10; and a processing part which, when any of the components is replaced in the product 10, writes the operation time measured by the time measuring part and identification information of the product 10 in association with each other to each of the IC tags 1a, 1b, and 1c provided to each of the components other than the replaced component, and makes the time measuring part restart time measurement after resetting the operation time.
