Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus which suppresses deterioration in image quality.SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes, inside a housing having an air intake port and an air exhaust port, a cooling air passage formed by connecting between the air intake port and the air exhaust port, a cooling fan interposed in the cooling air passage, and laser light source devices of each color at least heat radiation sections of which are disposed in the cooling air passage. A heat radiation section of the blue laser light source device, whose temperature characteristics are best among the laser light source devices of each color, is disposed more downstream of the cooling air passage than the green laser light source device and the red laser light source device.
