Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a projector in which the reduction in efficiency of conversion to fluorescence can be suppressed by preventing a phosphor from having a high temperature.SOLUTION: The light source device includes: a substrate 51; a light source 10 emitting first light; a phosphor part 30 which is disposed on the substrate 51, is excited by the first light emitted from the light source 51 to emit second light different in color from the first light, and has first ruggedness formed on a surface thereof; and cooling means 40 which introduces a cooling medium toward the first ruggedness obliquely to the phosphor part 30 to cool the phosphor part 30.
