TEETH MODEL, TEETH MODEL BLOCK, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teeth model which has reality of a dental pulp cavity to be suitable for, in particular, practical training of root canal treatment, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a teeth model uses a three-dimensional inkjet printer provided with a first ink comprising a photocurable composition and a second ink containing a wax component and includes: a step (a) of discharging, from a nozzle of the three-dimensional inkjet printer, the first ink to portions corresponding to enamel, dentine, and cement and the second ink to a portion corresponding to a dental pulp cavity to describe one cross-section of the teeth model; a step (b) of irradiating the one cross-section with light to form a cured layer; a step (c) of repeating the steps (a) and (b) to form a laminate of cured layers; and a step (d) of subjecting the laminate to heat treatment to remove the wax component.
