PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heating cooker capable of preventing sparks and local overheating in a heating chamber when a heater is constituted movably and microwave heating is performed.SOLUTION: The heating cooker includes: a high-frequency oscillator 10 oscillating high-frequency waves to heat a heated object 2; a waveguide 8 guiding the high-frequency waves to the heating chamber 3; a movable heater 15 arranged in the heating chamber 3; heater driving sheet metal 40 supporting the movable heater 15; a drive means vertically moving the movable heater 15; a control means 100 controlling heating operations by the high-frequency oscillator 10 and the movable heater 15 and the drive means; and a storage means 110 in which information related to a predetermined region of a movement region of the movable heater 15 is stored beforehand. When the movable heater 15 is positioned in the predetermined region, the control means 100 performs the heating operation by the high-frequency oscillator 10, and when the movable heater 15 is not positioned in the predetermined region, the control means does not perform the heating operation by the high-frequency oscillator 10.
