Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-precision slide bearing which can obtain precise and stable rotational torque by having a synthetic resin bearing layer on a base material of a sintered metal and usable as the slide bearing for receiving a relatively large radial load or axial load like the load received by, for example, a rotating shaft of a room air conditioner compressor or a car air conditioner compressor and a transmission of an automobile or a construction machine.SOLUTION: A resin layer 2 is integrally provided on the inner diameter surface side of the base material 1 made of the sintered metal of the cylindrical slide bearing. The resin layer 2 includes a resin composition with a fibrous filler mixed into an aromatic polyether ketone based resin. The fibrous filler 3 is distributed in the resin layer while being aligned so that the longitudinal direction of the fibers intersects the rotational direction of the bearing at an angle of 45-90 degrees. The resin layer 2 has a thickness of 0.1-0.7 mm. This structure alleviates the wear and damage of counterpart members which may be caused by the edges of the fibers, so that frictional coefficient is stabilized. The composite slide bearing, which has the synthetic resin bearing layer 2 with the base material 1 of the sintered metal, can thus provide a precise and stable rotational torque.
