Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic faucet device using a radio wave sensor, whose design flexibility can be secured, and whose water discharge and cutoff timing are satisfactory.SOLUTION: An automatic faucet device includes: a radio wave sensor for detecting an action state of an operator; a radio wave passing space formed between a communicating tube 10 and a water pipe 20; a radio wave radiation port 27 for outwardly emitting radio wave; a directivity adjustment means for adjusting the directivity of the radio wave emitted from the radio wave radiation port 27; and a controller for discharging and cutting off water from a water discharge port 26 based on the detection signal of the radio wave sensor, the controller determining a detection area based on the detection signal having signal value more than predetermined value. The directivity adjustment means is configured so that the radio wave interferes with washing water W in order that the detection area is smaller during the water discharge than during the water cutoff by that at least a part of the radio wave emitted from the radio wave radiation port 27 is attenuated by the washing water W.
